Kingston Garden Club Meeting

Meeting called to order by President Diann K.

 Many thanks to Betty T (and her daughter Maggie) for opening up her home for our annual picnic.

 Guests were introduced (Joyce , Madeline C, Debbie W, William T, Maggie)

 Alice M, Treasurer presented the proposed budget for 2007/2008.  It was moved and approved to accept the new budget after minor discussion.  A list was passed to obtain current information for all members in order to expedite the publishing of the new yearbook.  Alice is continuing to collect the dues ($15.) for the new year.

 Bobbi W discussed the program for September which is a field trip to Bainbridge Island Gardens following a brief meeting at our normal gathering location (Methodist Church on Shorty Campbell Rd.).  The owner’s daughter will speak, sharing the history of the gardens.  A count was taken for those wanting to stay for lunch.

 A reminder that we would like to include a “tip of the month” at each of our meetings.  It could be verbal or printed and also included on our web page.
